Growing up as the only girl with 3 older brothers, I have always had a great appreciation for girly things. Now that I have a daughter of my own, I just love to dress her and design bows to coordinate with all her outfits! After many compliments and questions about her bows, Cutie Ties was born. I design and create each and every one of our headbands, bows and flowers. I only sell things that are of the highest quality and that I would be proud to have my daughter wear. This high standard means that I spend more money on better quality clips, crystals, and other materials used to create each piece. All our ribbon ends are professionally treated to help prevent fraying.
All our bows and flowers can clip through the ribbon loops on our headbands. This is a huge perk for moms because they can get multiple looks for their baby without spending lots of money buying multiple headbands. Plus, once their baby does get some hair, they can still use the clips—or maybe their big sister can wear the clips too. All my “mommy shoppers” appreciate the practicality of this type of headband.My goal for ‘Cutie Ties’ was to not only create my own twist on a classic bow, but to also have a level of practicality for moms. I try to price everything reasonably so that everyone can enjoy these accessories
I use alligator clips with teeth. Every mom tells me that these are the types of clips they want for their daughter’s hair accessories. Yes, they are more expensive for me, but they stay in the hair so much better than regular clips
I also take the extra time to line all my clips with a ribbon that will compliment the bow or flower. In doing this the clip won’t be as noticeable when they are attached to the headband.
I use Swarovski Crystals to adorn the centers of our small bows and flowers (and to adorn our large flowers). Everyone really loves the extra sparkle of these crystals. They help make our products stand out from the rest
